Na
Europa, fazer espetáculo de rua é uma tradição
antiga. Na Idade Média, menestréis itinerantes cantavam
as notícias, malabaristas e palhaços chamavam a folia
e esta forma de arte continuou durante épocas. O conceito
ficou o mesmo: levar o espetáculo para onde o povo está
- mercados, feiras, ruas principais, praças e Festivais de
espetáculos de Rua.

Europe, street performing has a long tradition.
In medieval times wandering minstrels would sing the news, jugglers
and clowns would entertain the crowds.
The artform continues, and through the ages the concept has remained
the same, to take the show to where the people are, such as markets,
fairs, main streets and ....street performers festivals.
A primeira edição do Aeroclube Festival de Rua apresentou
um casal de Nova Orleans tocando blues e gospel, um mago e um malabarista
italiano, um mímico inglês, shows de música,
dança e circo da Bahia, Dinamarca e outros países,
além de uma pintora de N.Y., um homem banda alemão
e muitos outros. Eles vão invadir as ruas e praças
do Aeroclube Plaza Show durante cinco dias consecutivos, além
de fazer apresentações especiais na Praça da
Sé, Campo Grande e Farol da Barra encantando o público
com a magia de suas artes.
The
first edition of the 'Aeroclube Festival de Rua' featured : a blues
and gospel duo from New Orleans, a magician from Italy, an English
'transformance' artist, musical, dance and circus performers from
Bahia, Denmark and elsewhere, as well as a street painter from New
York, a German one man band, Italian jugglers, and many others.
The performers took over the streets and squares of the Aeroclube
Plaza Show during five consecutive days, and enchanted their audiences
with the magic of their arts, also doing special presentations in
other parts of Salvador: in Praça da Sé, Campo Grande,
and Farol da Barra.
Para quem faz show de rua, o chapéu é uma fonte importante
de renda e para o público é uma ótima forma
de mostrar apreciação.
For
most street performers the 'hat' is their main form of income, for
the audience it's a great way to express their appreciation....
O Aeroclube Festival de Rua está orgulhoso da associação
com dois dos festivais de rua de maior sucesso da Europa; O "Neuchatel
Buskers Festival" (Suíça) e "La Ghironda"
